Leeds Ruritan Club

Leeds Ruritan Club has an annual scholarship
program and we assist several charities like
VA Hunters For The Hungry and Habitat For
Humanity.

Hume Day is our major fund raising effort.

Congratulations to our 2017 scholarship winners!

Leann Brown, who plans to attend Shepherd University; Devon Draper, an entering freshman at Lord Fairfax Community College; Darian Poles, beginning at Delaware Valley University this fall; and Michael Wines, starting at Lord Fairfax Community College.

The scholarship program is funded by the financial support of a few corporate sponsors, personal contributions from Ruritan members, local residents, and the fund raising activities of the Leeds Ruritan Club. One of the primary fund-raising activities for the Ruritans is the Hume Day event that is traditionally the third Saturday in September, and the support and participation of the local community is essential for that event to be successful.
